Alicia Ahmed is a fourth year Neuroscience and Plan II Honors major, and she’s from Austin! She is also in the Dean’s Scholars Honors Program. She is currently working in the Howard lab, where she focuses on neuroanatomy in the Scn1b knockout mouse model of Dravet Syndrome. In the future, she plans to go to graduate school to pursue a PhD in neuroscience. In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading, and making art.
